The Civil Division constructs, maintains, and rehabilitates levees, reservoirs, dredge upland placement areas (DMMAs/DMPAs), and other critical infrastructure for local, state, and federal governments.

Specific capabilities include:


  • Levee construction and dike raising

  • Excavation, ditching, stripping, trenching, and dirt work

  • Drop outlet (outfall) structure demolition, repair, and/or new construction

  • Outfall culvert installation

  • Pile driving and sheet pile installation

  • Breakwater and revetment construction

  • Clearing, grading, grubbing, and contouring

  • Riprap, geotextile, and blanket stone installation

  • Access and haul road construction

  • Marine warning sign installation
