Eddie Fisher is a dredging services industry veteran, with 40 years of business development, project management, and contract management experience. Throughout his career, Mr. Fisher has executed numerous large-scale projects with a focus on the long-term safety of the surrounding community and environment while increasing efficiency and productivity.
Prior to joining Dredgit, Mr. Fisher held several management roles, including General Manager at a dredging company that delivered specialized dredging services for petrochemical and industrial plants, including large-scale projects with Dow Chemical USA, BASF Corporation and the South Texas Nuclear Project.
Mr. Fisher brings extensive knowledge of the Gulf Coast’s distinctive characteristics to this role. In over nine years as Director of Coastal Projects for the Texas General Land Office, Mr. Fisher directed budgets of up to $50 million and was instrumental in leading Hurricane Ike recovery efforts as part of the agency’s tactical recovery team. He also has spearheaded dredging projects in the Port of Galveston, marsh reconstruction projects in Terrebonne Parish, LA, and remediation projects in Lavaca Bay, among others.
Mr. Fisher holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Texas at Austin, where he remains an active member of the university’s Mentors for Employee Success program.
